In December, Scarlet will be discontinuing its web hosting service.

What will happen to your website?

As soon as the service ends in December, your website will no longer be accessible, and your Scarlet domain name will no longer be reachable.

Is it possible to transfer your site to another hosting provider?

If you want to transfer files from your Scarlet webspace, you can use FTP software. To find out more, visit our FAQs. You can also recreate your pages using website creation platforms.

What tools can help you?

The best-known free platforms are WordPress, Wix, Webself and Weebly. You also have the possibility of transferring a purchased domain or reserving a new domain name. You can also opt for a hosting service for your pages.

How to indicate your website moved?

Once your new site is online, you can set-up a redirect or indicate the new website address on your Scarlet-hosted page to alert your visitors. The homepage or redirection will be effective until the service closes in December.

What if you don't want to keep your site?

No action is required. In December, Scarlet will close its hosting service and your site will no longer be online.
