Taking over a subscription (mobile, landline, internet or TV)
You can take over a subscription (landline, mobile phone, Internet, TV or a combination of these products). The condition is that you have the consent of this person.
Before you can take over the contract, any outstanding bills must be paid first. The takeover itself is free of charge.
Proceed as follows:
- Download the takeover form. You can also request to have it sent to you.
- Complete it digitally or by hand.
- Send it back, duly completed and signed by you and the transferor, by post to the addresses mentionned on the form. Don't forget to also send a (digital) copy of both your ID-cards.
- Do you take over a mobile number? Was this used to log in to certain websites? Ask the transferor to use a new mobile number for that access.
The transfer will take place within 3 weeks of us receiving your request and any outstanding bills having been paid. You will receive a notification from us by letter, e-mail and/or text message. At that point, you will both see the new product situation in MyScarlet.
Did you receive a new customer number via e-mail (e.g. for a company) and do you want to keep your username (e-mail) for MyScarlet?
Make sure you have your new customer number and first bill at hand:
- Log in MyScarlet with your e-mail address.
- Scroll to Rights, click Revoke administrator rights and confirm.
- Log out of MyScarlet, wait for about 30 minutes and log in again.
- Click Add Products and enter your customer number, activation code and the date. You will now see your new products
Register here if you don't have a MyScarlet account yet or want to use a new username (e-mail)!
